Karl with Saral and David Böhm: Prague, June 1992
David Böhm was a eminent theoretical physicist who contributed unorthodox ideas to quantum theory, neuropsychology and the philosophy of mind. David Böhm co-wrote The Undivided Universe with Basil Hiley, in which they lay out the Bohmian interpretation of quantum mechanics which was considered radically different than the orthodox Copenhagen interpretation.
David Böhm and Karl were friends and colleagues. Böhm is known by some as the Father of the Holographic Theory of Quantum Physics, and Karl as the Father of the Holographic Theory of the Brain. Both were deeply involved in studying quantum mechanics in relationship to consciousness.
Several books have been written about or reference their work including The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot and The Aquarian Conspiracy by Marilyn Ferguson.
Most recently, Karl’s work with David Bohm and Basil Hiley was mentioned in the documentary film: Inifinite Potential: The Life and Ideas of David Bohm.
