THE FIRE receives the SILVER NAUTILUS AWARD! 
THE FIRE– my long-awaited sequel to The Eight– is a recipient of the Silver Nautilus Award for Visionary Fiction! These beautiful prizes are very special, and are awarded each year to those who “Think Outside the Box”–with very few fiction awards being given. Some past recipients of the Nautilus have included Deepak Chopra, Barbara Kingsolver, and the Dalai Lama!

I am one of only two “Spotlight Authors” chosen to be honored by the International Thriller Writers at this year’s Thrillerfest in New York City — alongside the legendary father of the Medical Thriller, Robin Cook! My fellow authors who will be presenting include honorees from this or previous years: David Baldacci, Sandra Brown, Gayle Lynds, Brad Meltzer, David Morrell–and a cast of other literary luminaries.
